Consultation ends: 24 May 2016
The Wales government withdrew its sustainable buildings national planning policy and related TAN22 guidance in July 2014 with intention of incorporating key non-energy elements of the Code for Sustainable Homes/BREEAM into the building regulations. A review identified a number of components for incorporation into building regulations and the government is consulting on these. They include: changes to Part G – sanitation, hot water safety and water efficiency; and publication of guidance on the content and presentation of information to householders for new dwellings.
