The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (Allocation of Allowances for Payment) Regulations 2012 allow the Treasury to impose charges for allocating and issuing allowances in return for payment in the carbon trading scheme established by the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Order 2010.
