A new consortium of environment management and communications experts has taken over the management of the online helpdesk for EMAS
The online helpdesk provides guidance and support for organisations following EMAS – the European eco-management and audit scheme.
Berlin-based sustainability think tank adelphi and is Belgian partners, public relations firm Arctik and consultancy 21 Solutions, now run the EMAS website.
As well as maintaining all the helpdesk’s existing support services, such as answering queries about EMAS and producing factsheets, the group aims to boost networking opportunities for organisations using the scheme.
The group took over in January and helped host this year’s EMAS awards ceremony on 7 April, which was held at the Industrial Green Tech Fair in Hannover, Germany, to help boost the visibility of the winners and nominees among the wider business community.
