European Regulation 253/2014 amends Regulation 510/2011 to impose an average emissions target of 147gCO2/km for new light commercial vehicles registered in the EU from 2020.

Manufacturers with fewer than 1,000 new light commercial vehicles registered in the EU annually are exempt from the target.
