The Public Gas Transporter Pipe-line Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2014 amend the Public Gas Transporter Pipe-Line Works (EIA) Regulations 1999.

EIAs are not required for gas transporter pipe-line works where development consent is required under the Planning Act 2008. This removes the duplication of the requirement to conduct these assessments.
