IEMA has announced the date and time of its 12th annual general meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 12th annual general meeting of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment will be held at 4pm on Thursday 13 September, at 76 Portland Place, London.

Ordinary business:

  1. To receive and accept the directors’ report and accounts of the Institute for the financial year ending 31 December 2011.
  2. To reappoint Duncan & Toplis as auditors of the Institute until the conclusion of the next general meeting at which accounts are laid.
  3. To authorise the board to fix the remuneration of the auditors.
  4. To confirm the appointment of an executive director.

Any member will be entitled to speak on any matters arising out of the report and accounts but no business other than that given in the notice will be transacted at the meeting.

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy or proxies to attend and, on a poll, vote on his/her behalf. A proxy need not be a member of the Institute.

Completion and return of a form of proxy will not prevent a member from attending and voting at the meeting in person should he/she wish to do so.

All proxies so appointed should be identified in writing, by no later than midday on Friday 7 September, to the following name and address:
