The Local Authorities (Contracting Out of Community Infrastructure Levy Functions) Order 2011 enables a community infrastructure levy (CIL) authority to authorise another person or their employees (a “contractor”), to exercise functions relating to the setting, charging, collection, enforcement and spending of a CIL.
