The European Chemicals Agency has published a list of around 7,000 substances for which a lead registrant has been declared (bit.ly/2dIp1gz).
It includes the names of lead-registrant companies that have given their permission to publish. Users can check the list to see which substances are being registered.
Companies planning to register any of the substances are advised to contact the lead registrant and begin negotiating to gain access to the joint submission.
Under the EU REACH Regulation (1907/2005), all companies registering the same substance must be part of the same registration. The agency said the list would be updated regularly as more information about substances and joint submissions became available.
