Legislation updates for August 2019.

The Hazardous Waste (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019 No. 1165) (W. 203) amend the Hazardous Waste (Wales) Regulations 2005 (SI 2005 No. 1806 (W. 138)) in order to supplement Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 on persistent organic pollutants (recast). Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 replaces and repeals Regulation (EC) No 850/2004 on persistent organic pollutants. Regulation 2 substitutes a new Schedule 8 to the 2005 Regulations in order to update references to Regulation (EU) 2019/1021.
