IEMA Impact Assessment Guidance

IEMA has a long history of producing quality impact assessment related guides and publications. This webinar is aimed at EIA practitioners, reviewers and stakeholders of all levels, and provides an overview of all of the existing IEMA guidance available, including commentary on update cycles, new guidance, and overview of guidance working groups. IEMA and the Impact Assessment Network have a long history of producing quality impact assessment related guides and publications for over 25 years. The guidance and publications range from topic-specific guidance such as the GN 1 Guidelines for the environmental assessment of road traffic published in 1993 to more general guidance such as the new primer on Digital Impact Assessment in 2020. This webinar counts for 1 hour of CPD, so don’t forget to add it to your IEMA CPD Portal. This can be accessed through your member account on iema.net. The new Impact Assessment Strategy launched in 2019 contains four key objectives. One of the key objectives relates specifically to guidance: ‘Develop guidance and training and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration to provide practitioners with the skills and knowledge to deliver effective and proportionate IA’ This guidance webinar is aimed at EIA practitioners, reviewers and stakeholders of all levels, and aims to provide a summary and overview of all of the existing IEMA guidance available, including commentary on update cycles, new guidance, and overview of guidance working groups.
