The momentum around understanding biodiversity impacts, and increasingly dependencies, in organisations is moving forward at pace. Increasingly, sustainability professionals are being asked to understand their organisation’s impacts on nature. We are seeing new initiatives on biodiversity such as the TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) and SBTN (Science Based Targets for Nature) while biodiversity considerations are increasingly being asked for, for example in the CSRD (the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). This webinar aims to help sustainability and environmental generalists within organisations to understand the ‘why’ and to get started on actions to understand and reduce impacts on nature. Attendees will learn: - Why consider nature in your organisation - Tools to measure a biodiversity or nature baseline - How to identify what’s material - Making a business case for action Speakers include: - Kate McGeogh, Senior Environmental Manager, Scottish Power - Chris Moss, Senior Consultant, Greengage Environmental - Marina Bradford, Director, Bemari.
