Waste Management in Action at Polmadie - the Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre. Come along to the Community Engagement Room to hear from the site team and see how recycling for the city of Glasgow happens. Site representatives will speak on the plant itself and the Technical Manager will be on hand to talk about recycling trends and issues facing the industry. Site Induction will be provided on arrival at site. Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre handles 222,000 tonnes of residual waste every year.
Attention: Attendees MUST undertake the short Site Induction online on arrival at site - or you will not be allowed entry.
