Our Regional Chair, Ed Walker, will provide a brief update on branch activity and plans for 2023/24. Matthew Kinmond of National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) will provide an overview of NGET’s portfolio on the East Coast, and how and why the transmission network is evolving. Mott Macdonald will provide an overview of the site enabling works on a former dockyard and industrial site in South Shields on the River Tyne; the session will cover the regeneration activities on the brownfield site including environmental requirements to enable residential development on the site. The event will be followed by networking with complimentary refreshments.
