Together, let's drive change.
As a university, you’ll want to ensure that graduates leaving your environment and sustainability degree programmes have the right knowledge, skills and tools to deliver value in a global economy. By becoming an IEMA University Partner, you can make sure that your graduates have the expertise and understanding that they need to secure a job and drive change.
To become an Approved IEMA University Partner, universities must ensure that their degree programme(s) align to the content in our IEMA Sustainability Skills Map. Universities will be asked to complete a mapping exercise, highlighting how the course content meets our internationally recognised Graduate standard. Once this has been accepted by one of our assessors, your course(s) will become approved by IEMA and you will become an IEMA University Partner. All University Partners will have access to an Approved University Partner logo, a certificate and presence on our website.
We will send round a unique membership access code to University Partners each year. Students will simply need to register for IEMA Student membership and add in their unique access code to activate their free membership.
We offer one in-person (or online) visit to all of our University Partners each academic year. We are happy to attend an event of your choosing, such as a specific onboarding session to meet with your students or representation at a careers fair.
Yes, you can find out more about IEMA Corporate Partnership here. If you are interested, please reach out to your university point of contact.
All approved courses are advertised on our University Partner Register.
Approval is for a year, and so we will email you each year about renewal. After three years, we will ask you to complete the approval process again. If there are any changes to your course, we’d also ask you to let us know.
Get your course approved and become an IEMA University Partner for just £1,000. Reach out to our universities team at [email protected].
