The Biodiversity COP – A primer on the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) conference 2024

COP16 will bring together the 196 Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to consider the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework, as well as participants that include observer organisations such as NGOs, charities, businesses, local communities and indigenous peoples.

As IEMA will be attending COP16, we outline the key outcomes we would like to see from conference, including a focus on green skills, along with a helpful guide on what happened at COP15 and what's to come at COP16.
