On the 30th October Rachel Reeves will deliver her first Budget, setting out the government's plans for spending and taxation, as well as using the occasion to announce a range of new government policies. Like many other organisations prior to the Budget, IEMA has highlighted several investment and policy areas to HM Treasury that we believe should be prioritised.

In this short blog, Ben Goodwin, Director of Policy and Public affairs at the Institute, makes the case for investment in the green economy and reflects on the recommendations that we put forward to government during the consultation period for the Budget.
