This database will enable the IEMA to significantly increase the functionality of at least five key areas of its services: Membership & Finance, Regional and Annual Events, Training and Examinations, Library and its website facilities.
The implementation of this database will take place throughout 2003 with each area above being phased in gradually, to keep operations running as smoothly as possible.
The first stage, Membership and Finance, is now in place and staff are busy checking and entering new data. The IEMA will keep members regularly updated on the progress of the database through 'the environmentalist' and on www.iema.net. The Institute anticipates that disruption to its members will be minimal. However, members' patience and co-operation would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any concerns regarding the new membership database, please contact Sara Fletcher on 01522 540 069, mailto:[email protected]
