An environmental contract has been proposed to allow people to be proactive and make a difference to their lives, even if others will not. It is an opportunity to clarify the rights and responsibilities of citizens, businesses and nations to one another.
It will also enable society to demonstrate that it is working together to solve environmental problems like climate change or the loss of biodiversity.
