Jeremy Percy joined Gleeds last month from BAA and he now plans to help the company guide its clients through the sustainability maze, particularly focussing on carbon footprints, waste and recycling and embodied energy. To get his message across, Percy will be teaming up with Sir Steve at Think 07 in May.
The duo will be co-hosting VIP trips down the Thames, presenting their thoughts and ideas on delivering a sustainable Olympic Games. Percy said: “Redgrave has been fairly outspoken recently about controlling the 2012 budget and has strong views on the environment and the legacy we are leaving for our children. “We will be presenting Gleeds’ ideas on what needs to be considered to make the Olympics the greenest in the history of the games.”
