The independent reports (lead by Brook Lyndhurst, IPSOS-Mori, Opinion Leader Research, the University of Surrey and Scott Wilson) focus on the five consumption clusters of energy, finance, food, leisure and tourism, and transport.
The research examined consumer attitudes and aspirations to different behaviours and explored expectations of government and industry in the context of pro-environmental behaviour.
A Synthesis Review (by the Policy Studies Institute) which summarises common findings from all five reports was also published on the Defra website:
