Trade unions, their members and other people at work may be affected by the need to adapt, for example: preparing for and coping with the impacts of flooding; and developing training and equipment to deal with climate risks.
The study will examine issues around statutory responsibilities, government action on adaptation and the development and negotiation of adaptation policies that support quality work, skills and equality.
AEA will be conducting an on-line survey of UK businesses and organisations to find out how aware employers are of the need to adapt and what action has been taken within organisations, and to gather potential case studies. For the opportunity to be involved in this study and to share in the discussion of its results, please contact Magnus Benzie: [email protected].
