This project aims to take a fresh look at the tax system to understand how we can create a system which is more progressive and at the same time more green.
As part of the project they will be constructing a new tax-benefit model to facilitate the formation of robust recommendations for creating a fairer and greener tax system.
Green Fiscal Commission Director, Professor Paul Ekins, will be speaking at the launch, together with Professor Paul Gregg (University of Bristol), Adam Lent (TUC) and Howard Reed (IPPR).
