‘Adaptation 2009’, a one-day regional conference, to be held on 29th January, will help equip local authorities and their partners to address climate change adaptation at a local level, and to help meet the requirements of the Nottingham Declaration and the new Local Area Agreement Indicator 188.
Presented by the Environmental Sustainability Team of Leicester City Council, and sponsored by GOEM and EM IEP, this one-day conference will consist of key note speeches and presentations, drama and workshops, as well as networking opportunities and displays. The event will also see the launch of the East Midland’s Regional Programme of Action on Climate Change. For more information, contact Debbie Hill ([email protected]).
