Call for IEMA Members to Enter Edie's Sustainability Practitioner Award

The deadline for the Sustainable Leaders Awards has been extended to 29th June.

Edie.net has extended the deadline for entries for the Sustainability Leaders Awards until 29th June so there is still time for IEMA members to enter.

From energy-saving or water-saving projects carbon-reduction and waste management to sustainability reporting sustainability communications and stakeholder engagement there's a category to suit most public and private sector organisations.

This year's awards features one particular category that we envisage will attract entries from many IEMA members � the Sustainability Practitioner Award. This recognises excellence in sustainability policy implementation and is for those who are making sustainable business strategies work in practice at an operational level.

For both the Sustainability Leader and Sustainability Practitioner categories Edie are keen to know about the personnel involved both at a strategic and a practical level.

Formerly the edie Awards for Environmental Excellence the Sustainability Leaders Awards organised by edie.net and Sustainable Business magazine is the UK's premier awards event for those demonstrating leadership and innovation in sustainability in both the private and public sectors.

A full category list and judging criteria and the entry process are online at edie.net. The deadline for entry in the form of a 750-word case study submitted online is now Friday June 29th.

The entries will be judged by a panel of the highest calibre which will be chaired by Environment Agency chairman Lord Smith before the winners are announced at a black-tie gala dinner on December 5th at London's The Grange St Paul's Hotel.
