IEMA is working with Environmental intelligence provider ENDS to survey Environment Professionals in order to assess the value of a range of certified environment, health and safety and quality management standards.
The survey, which is supported by the UK Accreditation Service, is aimed at organisations using standards, certification bodies, consultants, regulators and other stakeholders and covers the following standards:
- ISO 9001 (quality management)
- ISO 14001 (environmental management)
- OHSAS 18001 (health and safety management)
- ISO 50001 (energy management) and its predecessor BS EN 16001
- Carbon Trust Standard or equivalent (carbon reduction)
- BS 8555 (Acorn) (environmental management for smaller organisations)
- PAS 2060 (carbon neutrality)
- EMAS (EU environmental management)
The aim of the surveyis to use the results to provide a clear and reliable insight into the marketplace for certified standards. ENDS will publish the results in a freely available special report in November.
Please note the survey is anonymous. If you would like to discuss your answers in more detail, there is the option to add your contact details.
Please click here to take the survey before it closes on Friday 28 September.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact James Richens, ENDS senior writer, 020 8267 8102, [email protected].
