"The opportunity to recognise outstanding sustainability impact last year highlighted to us just how much great practice there is that needs celebrating. As the agenda and urgency grow, I know that the 2020 awards will be an even bigger and better showcase for leadership across all sectors." Toby Robins, IEMA Interim Chief Executive
With 2020 fast being recognised as the year of action, there has never been a more important time to work together for change. As organisations sign the pledge to net zero, set carbon neutral targets and tackle the Climate and Environmental Emergency, it’s very clear that operating as ‘business as usual’ is no longer an option.
Following on from the success of our first awards ceremony last year, we are launching our 2020 Sustainability Impact Awards to celebrate the outstanding work being done by individuals and organisations in facing these challenges and who use inspiration, innovation and transformation to drive the necessary change.
“We’re excited to receive entries from across the globe that showcase the transformative and inspirational work that is being done by individuals and organisations in the challenge to tackle the climate and environmental emergency” Louise Nicholls, Chair- IEMA Impact Awards judging panel
The 2020 IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards will take place on September 18th at The Brewery in London.
