The first in a series of webinars looking at the biodiversity net gain process. The aim of the session is for delegates to:  

• Understand how the baseline including surveying and the DEFRA metric.  

• Understand the design process including key principles and how these feed into the BNG process.  

• Understand the limitations / challenges of BNG baselining and how design must go beyond metric considerations  

• Learn from a practical example of the above on a UK project
