IEMA’s new guide provides a framework for the effective consideration of climate change resilience and adaptation in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process. IEMA pioneered EIA Climate Change guidance developing EIA Climate Change principles in 2010 and in 2015, the first guidance for EIA on Climate Change Resilience and Adaptation. EIA and Climate Change professionals have worked to update and revise this IEMA guidance.
