In this webinar, we highlighted some of the key challenges in construction, measures that are being implemented across large scale construction projects; and highlight what effective mitigation looks like. The session profiled the role of innovation, presenting leading case studies with transferable learning points. In delivering large scale construction projects, there are key challenges faced in meeting emission reduction targets and objectives. Bekir Andrews and Andrea Davidson, will highlight some of the key challenges in construction, measures that are being implemented across large scale construction projects (HS2), and highlight what effective mitigation looks like. Innovation is key to driving change within the construction sector, the session will detail key innovations across the HS2 programme, highlighting how these innovations are reducing carbon emissions and localised air quality impacts, leaving a legacy for future construction.
