For 25 years, we have been providing resources, tools, networking, knowledge sharing, and high-quality formal training and qualifications in order to meet the needs of members from their first steps on the career ladder, right to the very top. A highly experienced, qualified and motivated Environmental and Sustainability Specialist with excellent project management, commercial and technical skills, developed during 30 years of working on major international projects in challenging environments, both in industry and consultancy. Kevin has valuable skills in project approvals, planning, risk management, incident management & reporting; and has a collaborative working style and is an effective and confident communicator at all management levels. Sam specialises in sustainability in the built environment and has a 30-year track record working in Greater China. In his professional work he is involved in sustainability strategy and collaboration between landlord and tenant.

I am an Event Sustainability Consultant with a passion for promoting sustainable practices the MICE industry. With over 20 years of experience in event marketing, I founded Earth Production in 2016 to champion even sustainability. I actively advocate for best practices for event sustainability, such as IS 20121 standards and net-zero carbon in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. I also support non-profit organisations adopting sustainable event practices thro education and fundraising events. My goal is t inspire others to embrace sustainability in event planning for a greener future.

About Rajat

Dr Rajat Prakash Singhal is a Chemical Engineer with a master’s in environmental engineering. He is an Independent Environmental and Sustainability Consultant with 20 years of experience working on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies, developing hazardous and non-hazardous waste management plans, air and noise mitigation plans, zero wastewater discharge plans and greenhouse gas management strategies for International Banks, City Council and Industries based in India, Oman, Dubai, Denmark, Australia and Saudi Arabia. He worked full-time with companies such as Tata Consulting Engineers, Vedanta Resources, ERM India and Tebodin B.V. before becoming an independent environmental & sustainability consultant.

About Adam

Sustainability professional with experience in sustainable practices in a business context leading to increased productivity and greater efficiency to transition companies towards a low carbon economy. Completed an MSc in Environmental Management from Hertfordshire University in the United Kingdom. Proven record in business change and stakeholder management to create a culture change to embed sustainability at all levels. History of stakeholder engagement including active participation in sustainability organisations; the Sustainable Business Network, the Environmental Professionals Network and the Packaging Forum of NZ. Strong ability to build effective teams and to lead people with a history of valuing the contribution of employees in sustainable business practices and protecting the environment.

I am a mechanical engineer who was initially a student environmental activist, before deciding that I can only contribute so much to advancing sustainability if it was only a hobby. Since then I have had a decade and a bit long career in sustainability strategy, climate action planning, reporting, energy efficiency and ESD. Most of all though, my passion is working with people, to co-design sustainable solutions to environmental challenges. When I am not working as a Sustainability Engineer, you can find me brining out my Latin dance movies, cooking, painting or practicing laido.

About Tony

I'm a senior project consultant in the Sustainability Team at Ethos and a specialist in sustainable built environment. My main work is on LEED and BREEAM accreditation for major construction projects, but also providing wider ESG and sustainability consultancy to clients in construction and real estate. I've a strong interest using Life Cycle Analysis (embodied carbon) and Circular Economy to reduce the impacts of construction projects, and have successfully brought these approaches into projects.

About Jason

Mr. Jason Maitland is a MIEMA and has been influencing the hearts and minds of industry leaders, policy makers and workers alike for over 25 years. Jason continues to drive organizational change that is helping to transform the world to sustainability. He is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) as well as a Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP). Jason considers himself as a risk and sustainability champion and functions as a change agent where he brings a wealth of experience to both Corporate and Non-Profit organizations. Jason is currently the President of the Sustainability Institute of Trinidad and Tobago whose focus is transforming societies to achieve balanced social, economic, and environmental progress today and tomorrow

Henry David Bayoh is a Chartered Environmentalist and Full Member of IEMA. Expert and a Master Certified Development Project Manager and certified SAFe 5 Agilist. Henry has over 12 years professional experience in environment and development project management in both NGO and public service, with a passion for environmental sustainability.

Danjuma Waniko is a Chartered Surveyor, Chartered Environmentalist & Green Star SA Accredited Professional. He has over three decades experience working as a project manager, cost consultant and sustainability consultant in the Nigerian construction industry. An enthusiastic advocate for environmental and social responsibility, Danjuma has been actively engaged in sustainability for close to twenty years, with a focus on green building. He is the Managing Consultant of Q Associates, a cost, project management & green building consultancy firm he established in 1996. Danjuma is also President of Green Building Council Nigeria

About Jocelyn

Jocelyn manages the IEMA's UK Regional and World Networks. She supports our volunteers to produce bespoke engagement activities both in their local area and digitally, to provide member engagement on a global scale. She has a degree in English language & literature and prior to IEMA, worked in various brand management, procurement, marketing, and visual merchandising roles. She enjoys being creative, gardening, spending time outdoors, and swimming in lidos. Jocelyn also has a passion for all things vintage and used to run her own vintage clothing and homeware business. Patricia's role with IEMA involves managing the email inbox for regional and worldwide volunteers’ groups and queries, ensuring timely responses. She collaborates with regional volunteers to organize events, handling logistics from booking venues to providing tech support. Patricia also maintains volunteer databases, and coordinates with the Marketing and Communications teams to ensure events are well-promoted and successful. With an MSc in Business Management, she brings strong organizational and management skills to her role at IEMA.

About Tanya

The Country Support Officer – New Zealand (CSO-NZ) supports IEMA’s core business activities in New Zealand as well as supports the running of the local Steering Group, assistng in developing IEMA’s presence, and raising NZ sustainability and environmental professional standards.
